Privacy policy

Gasaf Treats makes games for iPhone, including Pentris and Poppin. Our games do not collect, store or share any personal information. This page explains what that means in practice.

What our games keep on your device

To remember your progress, each game saves a few things on your iPhone: levels and bosses cleared, scores and records, crystals and items you've earned, and your settings (such as sound, music and haptics). In Pentris this also includes anything you type into the game, such as your penguin general's name or tasks you record at camp.

This information is never sent to us. There is no game account. If you delete a game and don't use iCloud, its saved progress is deleted with it, and we cannot restore it.

iCloud

If you're signed in to iCloud, the iPhone apps keep a copy of your saved progress in your own iCloud account, so it can carry over to your other Apple devices. Apple stores this copy under its own privacy policy. We cannot see or access it.

Game Center

If you're signed in to Game Center, the games report your leaderboard scores and achievements to Apple's Game Center, where they can be seen by other players according to your Game Center settings. Game Center is run by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. We see leaderboard entries only as Game Center shows them, and we don't receive your Apple Account details. You can sign out of Game Center in your iPhone's Settings at any time.

What our games don't do

The current versions of our games have:

• No analytics or tracking, and no access to your device's advertising identifier.
• No game accounts or sign-ins of our own, and no chat.
• No access to your location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone.
• No need for an internet connection to play.

Children

Our games are made for players of all ages. Because they collect no personal information from anyone, they collect none from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age where you live).

Links in Pentris

Pentris's credits screen links to the website of the composer of its music (Kevin MacLeod, incompetech.com) and to the Creative Commons license for that music. Those websites open only if you tap a link. Those websites have their own privacy policies.

If you email us

If you contact us at [email protected], we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. We use it only to reply to you. We don't add you to a mailing list, and we don't share it. Ask us at any time and we'll delete your messages.

This website

gasaftreats.com uses no cookies, no analytics and no content from other companies. Like most websites, our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) for security and to keep the site running. We don't use these logs to identify you.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of our games handles information differently, we will update this policy before that version is released and change the date at the top of this page.
